Family Support Worker
At Ellwood Community Primary School, we pride ourselves in working with partnership with parents. When families and school work together in partnership, the outcomes for children improve. Mrs Rowley can provide emotional support, guidance and encouragement to children and families.
Mrs Rowley has an open-door. She is always available for an informal conversation or you can book a more formal meeting to discuss any worries or concerns. She is able to signpost you to external organisations and professionals for additional support, if she is not able to offer the specialist support you may require. All conversations are confidential (in accordance with safeguarding procedures) and sharing worries can help you deal with situations and together you may be able to come up with some solutions.

Mrs Rowley has a designated room which was partially funded through a Tesco Grant. The "ELSA" room is where children can go to talk, play games, learn ways to cope with their worries and discuss any problems they may have in a quiet, nurturing and calm environment.
